Band of Brothers — The Spirit of The Battle. This epic film pays homage to past heroes whose exploits have forged the legend of the Le Mans 24 Hours. Taking inspiration from Shakespeare’s timeless play Henry V, it immortalises these skirmishes, forays, attacks, and defences, the legends of which still echo around the Circuit de Sarthe to this very day.
It also celebrates racing’s unsung heroes: the teams of mechanics who spend their lives fighting in the obscurity of the pits, so drivers can shine on the tarmac. Fundamentally, this wider sense of fraternity is what racing is all about: shared passion, ambition, and drive. Once the combat is over, former enemies can become best friends and look back with fondness and pride at the dreams made together.
